  • Summer Highlights

    Baltimore Clayworks is proud to present a sampling of student work from our Satellite Studio located in the Pimlico Road Arts and Community Center. The work represents students of all ages who participated in a six week class or a one day workshop during our late summer session.

  • Artist Teacher Partnership

    Baltimore Clayworks, Baltimore Partners for Enhanced Learning, and Mt. Royal Elementary/Middle School present a collaborative show that was crafted out of Baltimore Partners for Enhanced Learning's fall 2007 "Artist Teacher Partnership".

  • What is Tradition?

    At Mt. Royal Elementary/Middle School, Class 605 completed a ten-day arts integrated unit combining social studies and visual art. The students in this class researched the question "What is Tradition?" in order to gain a better knowledge of Japanese art, culture, and history.

  • What is Empathy?

    In a collaborative effort, Mount Royal Elementary/Middle’s Class 801 worked with Baltimore Partners and Baltimore Clayworks to answer the question: What is Empathy?

  • Free Fall 2007 November 13–23, 2007

    During the month of October, Baltimore Clayworks hosted 10 free Get Fired Up! workshops at our studios in Mt. Washington and Forest Park.

  • The companion exhibition to RED October 13–November 10, 2007

    The RED exhibition includes work Clayworks has received from national artists who participated in exploring the theme of red. Clayworks also brought this theme to young people and senior adults in community-sited programs who created work based on the theme.

  • Beginning Clay for Kids and Mask Making April 2–30, 2007
  • Beginning Clay for Kids

    The Beginning Clay class at Baltimore Clayworks Forest Park is an introduction to a variety of techniques commonly used by ceramic artists as they manipulate clay.

  • Mask Making

    The Mask Making exhibit is a result of study focused on masks and their purposes in a variety of cultures including, but not limited to, African, Roman, Egyptian and American.

    Our committed team of artists and staff transformed an empty commercial space in the mall into a haven of creativity where professional artists lead affordable, accessible arts programs for the community.

  • Seeds of Potential July 29–August 23, 2006

    In the gallery you will see clay seeds, envisioned and crafted by community artists, resident artists, students, staff, board members, and people altogether brand new to Clayworks ranging in age from1 to 91.

    Work by middle and high school students in our A-Teams program.

  • Baltimore Clayworks Mondawmin Student Exhibition January 7–26, 2006
