In this 6-week course you will explore variety of "tea-related" forms with investigation of the aesthetics and rituals of serving tea in both cultures; from the comparison of eastern and western-style teapots to the seasonal teabowls of the tea ceremony in Japan. Students will look at a variety of form, handles, spout and lid making techniques. This class is for intermediate and advanced level potters or hand-builders.
