Put a handle on the piece silly. Handles can help to complete the visual profile of any piece and they also serve to inform and improve the functionality of the pot. This 3-week short course will emphasize the subtle relationships created between the pots rim, foot and handle. Learn practical methods of pulling and attaching handles directly from the pot. Demonstrations may include cups, pitchers, bowls, platters or canisters – the emphasis will be on handle technique. This course is for students who have completed at least two of the following courses: Intro, Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Wheel.
