This 12-week course is for students who have taken Intro to Clay or Basic Wheel and want to focus on extending their throwing skills. This course provides students with the opportunity to continue refining their skills while moving toward developing their personal “voice” in clay. Participants will continue to develop basic skills such as trimming and pulling handles yet challenged to throw forms such as serving bowls, plates and lidded forms. Use of slips, oxide washes and glaze will be demonstrated.
