How Low Can You Go: Low Fire Glaze

In this 12-week course, participants will learn a wide array of surface treatments and applications available in electric cone 04 glazes. Recipes will be provided for testing in order to encourage students to mix unique glazes for their works. Through this pallet of dynamic textural glazes students will be inspired to find their creative voice for their hand-built functional or sculptural projects. Hand-building techniques will be demonstrated, including the use of simple plaster molds. Useful handouts will supplement the demonstrations and studio time.
