Meet the Artists
A Member Artist at Baltimore Clayworks is a ceramic artist affiliated with the organization and is either a former resident, local, regional or national clay artist. Member artists are juried into Clayworks in June and November each year by submitting an application to a rigorous peer selection process. Expectations of Member Artists include volunteering time to the organization at events like NCECA, Artscape, exhibition openings, or Clayfest! Artists must also pay annual dues as well as donate a piece of work for annual fundraising events. Baltimore Clayworks member artists have the benefit of year round representation in the Member Artists Gallery, a sales gallery housed in the historic Gallery Building with rotating featured artists.
