Baltimore Clayworks would like to invite all of our students from the Summer of 2010 to the Spring of 2011 to be a part of our student show. We are proud to feature our students from the past year with the exhibition Clay from the Classroom. The 15th Annual Exhibition Showcasing the Talents and Triumphs of our Students. This exhibition runs from June 4th through June 18th, 2011.
Showcased will be wheel-thrown functional ware, hand-built sculpture and figures created by children and adults. A variety of finishing techniques are employed; high and low-fire glazes, wood, salt and raku firing. All work has been created on-site in Mt Washington and at our Community Arts satellite sites and studio at Jubilee Arts Center through the variety of classes offered for beginners and advanced student-artists at all stages of life.
