Baltimore, Maryland – November 12, 2007 –Starting off 2008 with a new twist on a common object at Baltimore Clayworks with the exhibition Another Cup?, featuring functional and sculptural wares that explore the possibilities of the cup. Another Cup? runs from January 12 through February 23, 2008 with an opening reception on Saturday, January 12th, from 6 to 8 pm. Admission is free.
An invitational exhibition featuring cups from established and emerging ceramic artists. The curator, Baltimore Clayworks’ Executive Director Deborah Bedwell believes, “… that a beautifully made cup, which satisfies its utilitarian and/or artistic intention is exactly what our culture needs and answers the question “Does the world need another cup?”
