The exhibition was juried by renowned ceramic artist Arthur Gonzalez and explores the depth of expression in contemporary figurative ceramic sculpture. The exhibition features artists who use the figure as a whole or fragmented, realistic or abstract, utilizing traditional and non-traditional surface treatments and materials.
Hands-On Try It! Hand-Building Workshop
Experiment and explore in one of these workshops for adults 16 + who are curious about clay. Participants will learn the basics of hand-building while having fun in our relaxed classroom environment. Students will decorate finished pieces using commercial under-glaze and glaze. Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for drying and firing of finished work; completed work may be picked up at our Mt. Washington gallery. Adults ages 16+.
