Due to the anticipation of rain for Saturday, there may be outdoor activities which will be cut from the program since the entire event will be brought inside. Due to the tremendous interest and pre-registration for this event, we expect big crowds and wanted to make you aware of Possible changes Of some events due to the weather.
For your ease in arriving at Clayworks in Mt. Washington, please take advantage of the Light Rail which has a stop within 100 yards of our building. The stop is MT. WASHINGTON and provides very easy access to Baltimore Clayworks.
If you are driving, please come into the Village and try to find parking on the street, in our lot adjacent to the Clayworks Gallery building or in the neighborhood.
ClayFest! 2009 joins FREE FALL BALTIMORE!!! Open and free to the public, Baltimore Clayworks invites the community to participated in a fun-filled hands-on clay festival which include trying your hand at wheel throwing, making tiles, raku firing, fun and games at the Clay Olympics, community mosaics and much, much more. Come to 5707 Smith Avenue in the Mt. Washington Village and get ready to get creative and muddy!

WHEEL TRY ITS (1:00 – 3:30 PM; UPSTAIRS CLASSROOM – STUDIO BUILDING)
CLAYMATION STATION (12-4 PM; DOWNSTAIRS CLASSROOM – STUDIO BUILDING)
MOSAIC MADNESS (12-5 PM; FRONT MEMBERS GALLERY – GALLERY BUILDING)
HAND-BUILDING TRY ITS (12-2 PM – COMMUNITY ARTS GALLERY – GALLERY BUILDING)
HANDBUILDING AND WHEEL DEMOS (ALL DAY; BOTH BUILDINGS)
