Enroll in any one full 8-week session adult class and receive the second class at 50% off.* This offer applies only to full session classes and does not include workshops. This is a non-transferable registration.

CHILDREN'S PARTIES!
A Clayworks artist will lead your group through a hands-on clay activity from start to finish. will be contacted approximately two weeks after the party, to collect the finished work.
The base rate for a Clay Party is $200.00, for up to 8 children, and includes instruction given by an artist, all materials and firing of clay.

Weekly Classes for Youth and Teens
Teen Clay (ages 11-15)
In this 10-week class for ages 11-15, students will enjoy a varied experience in clay. Using hand building techniques and the potter’s wheel, students will learn and develop both hand building and throwing skills. This class will cover the foundational techniques of forming pinch, coil and slab pots, in order to create sculptural forms, cups and bowls. As students refine these skills, they will work on more complex projects that will enable them to combine techniques and push their own creativity and problem solving abilities. Glazing and other surface treatments will be explored. Class includes all materials and firing.

Clay After School (ages 6 – 8) or (ages 9 – 11)
This is a 6-week afternoon class for children ages 6 – 8, or ages 9 -11. Students will work with their hands and imaginations, to discover the magical qualities of clay! They will explore texture, build skills, and bring home many wonderful creations. Each class session will introduce a new technique and present a new, exciting challenge. All works will be created in red earthenware and glaze fired to cone 04, after under glaze has been applied by the student. Class includes all materials and firing.

Clay for Home School Students (ages 6 – 10)
This exciting 6-week course is designed for children whose school schedules allow them to enrich their education with an afternoon clay class! Students will enjoy learning new skills, as they discover techniques used to hand build wonderful clay projects. Through pinch pot and coil forms, as well as slab construction, children will be challenged and delighted while using their creativity. All work will be created in red earthenware, with under glazes applied by the student. Class includes all materials and firing.

Family Workshops
Clay for You and Me (ages 6 - 11 + adult)
This is a one-day workshop for a child and special adult (parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or friend). The pair will enjoy working on a clay project together, that will then be fired and picked up at a later date. This class is for children ages 6 through 11, and adults of all ages. Big Hands, Little Hands (ages 3 – 5 + adult)
This one-day workshop will explore the possibilities of clay for the pre-school age group. Adults will be paired with their young ones as they push, pinch, roll, squish and play with the clay. Process and product will be emphasized in this unique sensory experience, while the children build skills as well as a wonderful ceramic work of art! This class is for children ages 3 through 5, and adults of all ages. Class includes all materials and firing.
