Beginning Clay for Kids
The Beginning Clay class at Baltimore Clayworks Forest Park is an introduction to a variety of techniques commonly used by ceramic artists as they manipulate clay. We learned simple tricks such as slip and score to adhere multiple pieces of clay to form the building blocks used to create the simple and complex ceramic objects seen in this exhibit. The participants in the Beginning Clay Class consisted of a group of the seven dedicated students listed below and range from ages 6-10.
