Collaborations with Nature

Date/Time: (Ages 6-9) Monday – Friday, 2 – 5pm, June 28-July 2
Fee: $165 Members; $185 Non-Members
- This class will focus on hand-building functional and sculptural pieces that incorporate elements of nature such as leaves, flowers, and more in order to create a variety of textures. Some projects may involve the use of found objects, stamps, press molds, and other media to decorate the clay surface. The goal of this class is to learn fundamental hand-building skills while constructing press-molded plates, bowls, boxes and small wall-mounted pieces. It will also show that, by bringing elements of nature into their work, students can expand their horizons and bring out their own individuality.
