Campers will go on a week long journey through the history of African ceramics in this spectacular all day camp! All students will be shown examples of various African tribal masks, fired ceramic vessels with an array of finishing techniques, regional totems, and decorated figures to inspire them to make their own creative versions of these from clay! We will also go on a specific journey through Egypt and reveal all the mysteries this ancient land has to offer! Multiple hand-building methods will be taught in order to assist students in making a wide variety of colorful sculptures. Get ready for an educational week of fun!
