Self Reflection: Narrative Self -Portrait Bust

In this 2-day intensive participants will create a life-size self-portrait head or bust where the realistic head becomes a point of departure. Using metaphor, allegory, abstraction and their own personal narrative students will embellish their portrait busts using basic hand-building technique and tools. Demonstration and slides will illustrate the clay sculpture building process and examples to help participants easily understand the subject and learn how to manipulate the materials. Come with a playful and cheerful mind!
