Teen Wheel: Boot Camp Throwing Clinic (Ages 11-15)
In this one-week class, students will learn the fundamental techniques of throwing on the potter's wheel. After students have learned how to center, they will explore the process of creating cylinders, vessels, cups and bowls. Techniques such as trimming and building handles will also be covered. Students will finish their work by applying various glazing methods and surface treatments to decorate their pots.
