Discoveries in Clay: Clay after school (ages 9 – 11)

- In this 6-week class students will discover the magical qualities of clay. Transform blocks of clay into beautiful pieces of artwork and consider how art can be used to transform communities. Young people will learn hand-building techniques, be introduced to ceramic-based community arts projects, and define their creative voices and visions. All works will be created in red earthenware and decorated using under-glaze color and glaze fired to cone 04. Class includes all material and firing.
