In addition to making pots on the potters wheel, students in this 12-week session will explore, surface and texture, glaze application techniques, and glaze relationship to form. Students will use a variety of green and bisque decoration techniques including: slip, underglaze, stamping, sgraffito, wax masking and latex. Throwing demonstrations will focus on simple open forms such as bowls and plates to be used as decorating canvas. This course is for wheel students comfortable working at an intermediate skill level.
