This 8-week session focuses on the anatomy of the figure, gesture, and proportion. We will study muscle groups in flexion and extension, to aid in perceiving the planes of the body for dynamic posture. This course is a great companion to the hand-building and figure class for students who want more concentrated time with the model. The male and female body, as well as agents of expression will be discussed – students should expect to have 6 weeks of live model contact. Previous clay experience is required for this course.
