Mary Cloonan
Aisha Harrison
is currently a resident artist and is the recipient of the 2010–11 Lormina Salter Fellowship and the newest addition to the Clayworks as well as the city of Baltimore. Aisha is a native of Olympia, WA. She earned her BA from Grinnell College, IA, BFA from Washington State University, WA and her MFA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, NE. Aisha’s figurative work explores the intricacies of human emotion that arise from owning a biracial identity in contemporary American society. Her work has been exhibited nationally and recently received an award at the National Juried Student Exhibition at the 2010 NCECA in Philadelphia, PA.
