Tour de Clay is a collaboration among artists, galleries and leaders from the Greater Baltimore cultural community who have joined together to showcase all possibilities of art in clay. One hundred and sixty (160) exhibits featuring 878 artists from around the world will be held in 122 venues throughout the Greater Baltimore region beginning February 19 and continuing through April 3, 2005.

Tour de Clay, the largest visual arts program ever held in the country, celebrates all forms of art in clay through a collaboration of artists from 47 states and Norway, Switzerland, Korea, Africa, Japan, Taiwan and Scotland, as well as galleries and leaders from the greater Baltimore cultural community with exhibitions at more than 100 venues throughout the region. Tour de Clay runs through April 3, 2005 and coincides with the American Craft Council show (February 22-27) and the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) conference (March 16-19).
